Reminders for Hybrid Meetings

For our hybrid meetings, here are a few reminders to keep in mind:

If you come in person, please

  • doors open at 6:30 p.m.; meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • wear you name badge and bring your membership card
  • consider picking up CQ quilt sandwiches to quilt and return
  • bring cash for the Library Sale
  • plan to browse and shop at our guest vendor
  • to show your quilting projects in the Show and Share display, please send photos of them plus a description to YHQG.zoom@gmail.com by Monday at 12 noon. And bring the actual item to the meeting to show it off in real time
  • bring fabric remnants and other sewing related items for the “Too Good to Toss” exchange table. At the end of the meeting, take home anything you brought that is still on the table
  • be mindful of our scent-free policy which extends to hairspray, lotions, etc.

If you attend online, please

  • the Zoom doors open at 6:45 p.m., the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
  • enter your name (instead of David’s iPad) when you log in
  • mail your disappearing blocks from Virtual Tuesday to 86 Heddington Ave, Toronto M5N2K8
  • send your Show and Share photos and descriptions to YHQG.zoom@gmail.com by Monday at noon
  • be patient as we continue offering our hybrid experience.

Guests are welcome, so invite your friends to join us. They can pay $15 in cash at the door or pay online in advance
