Announcement:

YHQG Executive is monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are in communication with our guest speaker and Toronto Botanical Gardens.  At this point in time, we are still going ahead with the Tuesday March 17th meeting.
However due to the cancellation of the SAQA conference the original guest speaker Maria Shell will not be in Toronto on the 17th, but will be in town for the workshops on March 24th and 25th.  Maria will be presenting a trunk show to the Ancaster Modern Quilt Guild on March 26th, and have invited YHQG members to attend.
YHQG has arranged for an alternative speaker for the March 17th meeting…our very own BJ Reid.  Trunk show – The Story Behind the Quilt.
We will continue to keep you informed as events develop.

A love of stitching has been inherited from my mother and grandmother. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have at least a couple of stitching projects underway. Whether it’s by hand or machine, there are always new projects I’d like to try or fibres I’d like to experiment with…and a few projects waiting to be finished!
