Tuesday January 21st is the Annual General Meeting of York Heritage Quilters Guild, so it’s a members only meeting.
As well, we will be stitching together at the annual Community Quilt Night, so bring your small sewing kit (needle, pins, neutral-colour thread, needle threader, thimble, and scissors or thread snippers), your mug for coffee or tea and be prepared to socialize with other guild members. Treats will be served. Prizes will be won!
The library will be open from 6pm to 6:50pm.
The Community Quilt volunteers have prepared fussy-cut, kid-themed circles that members will appliqué to brightly coloured squares. The fun fabrics
are sure to put a smile on your face. The CQ volunteers will take the squares we complete and assemble them to make children’s quilts to donate to one of the charities we support.
