Our October meeting, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 7 – 9 p.m., will feature Canadian fabric and quilt designer Tamara Kate. Her objective is “to create work that is fresh, joyous and youthful with a touch of whimsy”, so you will be treated to an uplifting experience. Her talk + trunk show is titled A Glimpse into the World of Fabric Design.
The meeting location is Toronto Botanical Garden, 777 Lawrence Ave. East (at Leslie) in the Floral Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. Members are admitted free; guest fee is $15.
