Our first meeting of the guild year is on Tuesday, September 17, 7 to 9 pm at Toronto Botanical Garden. It is sure to be a fun evening, featuring our headliner Jeannie Jenkins,
who, as well as being a member of York Heritage Quilters Guild, is a prolific and talented paper piecer. There will also be a tribute to our 40th anniversary by long-time member Kay Phillips, a display of the “40 and Fabulous” Challenge entries, comfort quilts to be taken home for completion for Community Quilts and registrations for our fabulous lineup of workshops. Our vendor of the month will be Oh Look, Fabric! To top it off, there will be the announcement of a new Guild Challenge for 2020. Members are admitted free; Guest fee is $15. If you attend as a guest, and then decide to join, this amount is deducted from your membership fee.
Our first workshop of the guild year is taking place on Saturday, September 28. Jeannie Jenkins will share her expertise with “English Paper Piecing Gone Wild”.
